Rigging, fleeting & crane driving

Would you like to play a key role on the Astute and Dreadnaught Submarine programmes working on Rigging and Fleeting? We currently have a vacancy for a Rigger/ Crane Driver at our site in Barrow-in-Furness.

As a Rigger/ Crane Driver, you will be working as part of an Integrated Work Team (IWT) where you will be engaging with customers based in the workshops to deliver projects, no two days will be the same as you will be working across different environments/platforms.

This role will provide you with the chance to be involved in a role that is dynamic and ever changing, working both inside and outside of the boat with opportunities to progress in this area of the business.

Your main responsibilities as a Rigging, fleeting & crane driving will involve:

Rigging
fleeting & crane driving
Knowledge of all safety requirements

Your skills and qualifications as a Rigging, fleeting & crane driving:

Experience in an industrial and or manufacturing environment


Experienced at providing great customer service

Experienced at working safely and to safe systems of work


Qualified crane driver

Qualified rigger

Qualified Fork Lift Truck driver desirable
