SHE Health and Environment Associate
Would you like to join an ever-growing team working on one of the largest military capability programmes ever? We currently have a vacancy for a SHE Health and Environment Associate at our site in RAF Marham.
As a SHE Health and Environment Associate, you will be part of a wider team of SHE professionals, and you can expect to be provided with a high level of support and development to ensure you are equipped to meet the challenges that the role provides.
This role will provide you with a varied role which does change daily, with widely ranging tasks and activities. This also allows for the maximum potential of development as you will be working on the F-35 project, which is one of the largest military capability programmes.
Your main responsibilities as a SHE Health and Environment Associate will involve:
You will be responsible for providing competent and professional safety, health and environmental advice and support to our business operations which could typically comprise 100+ employees with diverse safety, health and environmental risks to manage
You will be involved the in implementation and maintenance of the SHE Management System (Certified to OHSAS18001 and ISO14001) within your business operation, leading on risk assessment, accident/incident analysis and assurance activity, along with a wide variety of related tasks that fall within this diverse role
You will also be an ambassador for cultural change within the business, able to influence and promote a positive SHE culture at all levels
Your skills and qualifications:
You will hold the NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health and be working towards the NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent
Proven experience in a SHE role
Experience working on an aircraft maintenance facility
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Strong stakeholder management skills
Experience working in Occupational Hygiene or Environmental management would be advantageous

Salary: £28,643 +
