Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Associate

Would you like to play a key role within the health, safety and environment area of the business? We currently have a vacancy for a Safety, Health and Environment Associate at our site in Samlesbury.

As a Safety, Health and Environment Associate, you will be a highly motivated and influential individual as part of a wider team of SHE professionals, and you can expect to gain a high level of support to ensure you are equipped to meet the challenges that the role provides.

This role will provide you with a varied role where no two days are the same and contribute to the delivery of the F35 programme. This role will also give a strong opportunity for development and progression.

Your main responsibilities as a Safety, Health and Environment Associate will involve:

Providing competent and professional safety, health and environmental advice

Providing support to our business operations with diverse safety, health and environmental risks to manage

Implementing and maintaining of the SHE Management System (Certified to OHSAS18001/ ISO45001 and ISO14001)

Conducting risk assessment, accident/incident analysis and assurance activity

Your skills and qualifications:

You will hold the NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health and working towards the NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health (or equivalent).

Qualifications and/or working experience in the area of Occupational Hygiene or Environmental Management would also be a distinct advantage

You will be an excellent communicator at all levels, and be able to adapt your communication style to fit the audience.

You will have excellent presentation skills, and have experience running meetings.

Experience in a SHE role would be desirable
