Salary: £27.3k - £30.9k (dependent on skills and experience)

There is an opportunity for the position of Team Leader (Craftsperson) based at Aldershot Depot, Hampshire.

What does a Team Leader (Craftsperson) do?

    Working predominately on gas service and mains repair activities. You will be trained to NCO2 level in service laying and/or main laying and experience in Escape, Locate and Repair. Undertaking physically demanding work involving excavating and digging in public and private highways

      Working in a variety of outdoor environments safely and as part of a team.

        Working safely in a variety of outdoor environments as part of a team, use computer field systems and achieve a high standard of safety and technical competence

          Using computer field systems and achieving high standards of safety and technical competence.

            A flexible attitude to work, and willingness to take on new skills in order to further your career in the gas industry.

              Communicative and Inter-personal skills, including the ability to connect with members of the public.

                Demonstrating the ability to working in a physically demanding environment.

                  Good inter-personal skills, including the ability to deal with members of the public.

                    Ideally you will hold MET1 to 4 and CCN1 accreditation, however full training will be given to the successful candidate.

                      The nature of the work means that you will be required to work variable hours and participate in a 24 hour standby rota.

                      A full and valid driving licence is essential.
