PA’s IT Transformation (ITT) team works with businesses across public and private sectors, helping C-level executives, IT experts and business leaders to deliver the transformational change they need to stay ahead. We help clients create the IT infrastructure, IT organisation, capabilities and approaches they need. We take responsibility for the largest change programmes in government or commerce. We work shoulder to shoulder with our clients on every step of their transformation journey: starting from their business vision and objectives we design the strategy, define the delivery programme and execute the technical implementation.
Where necessary we disrupt. We combine industry-leading Agile development, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud and sourcing solutions with our team of outstanding solution architects. Over the 12 months, you will work across the transformation lifecycle - it may be writing a business case, design of a technical solution, coaching an agile development team, conducting an assurance assignment or delivering business change. You’ll assist with analysis and the preparation of deliverables roughly following the five-diamond consulting model – entry, diagnosis, visioning, planning and implementing. Our clients expect us to bring the best thinking, to work rapidly and join up with them so that we travel the journey together.
You will need to be proactive in finding opportunities to develop your skills and support or shadow more experienced consultants. Through networking internally and externally you will build a support team around you, develop your own brand in the marketplace and be able to shape your career in the direction you want to go.
Over the 12 months, you will be working in small teams, contributing to shaping a solution for our clients. You’ll play a key part in the development and delivery of compelling client materials such as presentations, tender responses and assignment deliverables. You’ll assist senior consultants and take ownership and responsibility for specific aspects of the client assignment or PA project while helping with the analysis of complex data.
You will also contribute to the internal development of the IT Transformation community and take an active role. This may include recruitment, marketing, training, thought leadership or the development of best practice approaches, methods and tools.

This role is open to undergraduates in their penultimate year of university.
