Would you like to work within an interesting role supporting the Finance department in the Air Sector? We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Project Accountant at our site in Preswick.
As a Senior Project Accountant, you will be working as a Business Partner you will be responsible financially for understanding the Contracts within Regional Aircraft. We are looking for someone to work with the business to establish a project reporting process and work to understand the future costs of the contracts within the Regional Aircraft business. There will be a lot of stakeholder management across the functions and the need to provide timely financial information to the Finance Function and within the Business.
This is an integrated role working within the business – driving through financial process and governance.
Your main responsibilities as a Senior Project Accountant will involve:
Delivering the Financial Contract status report for ISSAC and ARA Projects, within an integrated project team
Leading on preparation, summary and analysis of Summary status report for all smaller contracts
Working with key stakeholders in the preparation of bid documentation
Driving continuous improvements in the processes and procedures adopted by the local business in the management of day to day activities
Qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA or relevant equivalent
Experience of working with non-financial stakeholders in a commercial environment
Confident and knowledgeable of the products and services and projects delivered by the business to be able to provide challenge and support.
Ability to work in fast paced environment with tight deadlines
Ability to influence others and work collaboratively in the delivery of day to day activities.
Ability to prepare complex and detailed information and overview this to non-financial stakeholders
You must have the ability to manage a team of professional and experienced finance staff. You must possess excellent influencing skills with senior management and stakeholders.
