Armed with world class cloud solutions, your challenge is to unlock the potential of a Strategic Customer through meaningful insights and storytelling, demonstrate clear business value and accelerate Digital Transformation milestones. High level customer satisfaction is a key measure, as are consumption and revenue targets.

The most successful Account Directors are keen on meaningful customer engagement, value diverse perspectives and are able to integrate a variety of views into a value proposition for our customers. Whilst being resourceful leaders of virtual teams, curious to listen and learn from their customers. These attributes allow them to advise confidently and elevate their customer’s business.

This role will support one key Insurance and Asset Accumulation organisation in the UK Financial Services team.


Leadership Plan and present clear vision of customer success
Working with your v-team you will be skilled at building and owning customer plans that demonstrate critical insight and highlights new business opportunities for both Microsoft and the customer. It is key that this joint-plan be a living document that clearly lays out a vision for success that challenges convention but sits comfortably with the ambitions.

You will be skilled at building lasting relationships inside your customer, Microsoft and the critical industry and partner ecosystem. To do this you will care deeply about the people you work with and their success. Our best people have a passion for learning, treasure diverse perspectives and work hard to integrate their learnings and others perspectives into our customer value proposition.

Building meaningful alliances is the key to success at Microsoft and our most successful Account Directors are keen collaborators that help stakeholders across the business understand their customer journey and how Microsoft can best support their Digital Transformation. Leading the team on our most important customer relationships you will have an opportunity to develop a network across the breadth of Microsoft and comfortably tell the story of your customer to stakeholders here and in Redmond, Seattle.

Being a leader in our Financial Services team, you are expected to bring your own perspective and help add to the depth of understanding around customer and Industry, where you don’t know something you will be energetic in looking to leverage the knowledge of others - internal and external.

We are looking for a sales professional with experience selling technology and/or business outcomes and it would be beneficial to have a good knowledge of the Financial Services sector, preferably in the area of Insurance.

Credibility is a key attribute as you will regularly sit with COO’s and other customer executives to advise and challenge.

A Bachelor’s degree is important and a focus on business or technology would be helpful..
