Role Summary/Purpose

To assist in test and assembly operations. This will include regular housekeeping of the cell to maintain current operations and material packaging/movements for effective stock control when necessary.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Complete daily tasks as per supplied checklist, liaise with shift leaders
  • Housekeeping across workshop(s)
  • Cell management of materials (5S)
  • Maintain safe workshop environment
  • Stores housekeeping to be maintained and controlled
  • Full control and housekeeping of oil store
  • Support shift leaders with forklift requirements
  • Good communication skills to engage with other departments to support production
  • Good organisation skills to support production requirements and engage with other workshop cells
  • Positive engagement with external customers for ordering and delivery of workshop and project materials

Qualifications/Requirements
  • Experience in Plant & Equipment (Fork Lift Truck, Overhead Gantry Crane)
