We are seeking a Communications Manager to join our team based in London.
You will work with partners (such as Network Rail) and the Southeastern Major Programmes team to develop and coordinate the delivery of multi-channel marketing communications campaigns relating to major programmes of investment and high impact engineering works affecting the Southeastern railway network.
Programmes of work include;
- Major works affecting the network at Ashford in December 2019
- A seven day line closure of the Barnehurst line of route in February 2020
- Major works for the Sandwich Open Golf in 2020
- Future works associated with the new Thanet Parkway station
- Facilities improvements and other works associated with Network Rail’s five year funding period.
You will build trust and understanding with customers and stakeholders through the delivery of insight-led creative and engaging communications and help improve the reputation of the railway.
To excel in your role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Recognised Marketing and/or Communications Practitioner
- Proven experience in developing, delivering and measuring multi-channel communications/marketing campaigns
- Knowledge and experience of using insight to inform campaigns
- Experience of project management, time management and meeting deadlines
- Proven experience forecasting, managing a budget
- Experience of briefing and managing external agencies and suppliers
Based from our Head Office in London Bridge you will be required to work 37 hours per week. There will also be an on-call requirement on a rota basis.
