We currently have a vacancy for a Test Engineer at our site in Rochester, Kent UK.
As a Test Engineer, you will be supporting the Operations manufacturing area and will be responsible for the implementation of test strategies, the maintenance and repair of test equipment, the training of operators, the generation of test programs and supporting documentation, technical support for all development and production programs and Design for Test assessments on new designs.
Your main responsibilities as a Test Engineer will involve:
Implementation of Test Strategies
Maintenance and repair of Test Equipment
Test Program generation
Generation of Technical documentation
Design for Test Assessments
Your skills and qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a PCB Test/Manufacturing Test environment or a recognised, electronics-based apprenticeship. This should include knowledge of Analogue, Digital, Roving Probe, In-Circuit-Test, Functional Test, AOI
Fault Diagnosis to component level, Interpretation of Circuit Diagrams, test equipment maintenance and repair, preparation of Technical Documents
HNC Electronic Engineering or equivalent
Experience or knowledge of; SPEA Roving Probe, Boundary Scan (JTAG IEEE 1149.1), DIT-MCO/Easywire, Functional ATE
