Our technology teams in the UK work closely with HSBC’s global businesses to help design and build digital services that allow our millions of customers around the world, to bank quickly, simply and securely. We also run and manage our IT infrastructure, data centres and core banking systems that power the world’s leading international bank.

Our multi-disciplined teams include: DevOps engineers, IT architects, front and back end developers, infrastructure specialists, cyber experts, as well as project and programme managers.

We work in small, agile DevOps teams with colleagues around the world from our offices at the Bluefin Building in Southwark, our global headquarters in Canary Wharf, and multiple other locations around the UK including Sheffield, Leeds, Barnsley and Birmingham.

Following extensive investment across our Technology and Digital domains and with plans for continued expansion throughout 2019 and beyond, we are currently seeking an Agile Business Analyst to join HSBC Technology.

We are a team of technical Business Analysis and Project Managers primarily based in UK collaborating with development and testing teams in China, India and Poland to deliver technology change projects for the Global Private Bank.

Focus: Using the latest technology and methodologies to make our customers’ banking experience simpler, better, faster and more secure. Our customers and clients who include:

  • Private Bank business teams: e.g. relationship managers, Client Service Executives

  • Business Management teams

  • Product teams: e.g. Investment councillors, Hedge Funds and Alternative investment teams

  • Business services teams: e.g. Client Lifecycle Management, Business Development functions within Operations and remediation teams

  • Legal and Compliance teams

  • Technology & Infrastructure Delivery teams (ITID)

Our Projects: They are locally & globally implemented in the following categories:

  • Strategic (e.g. Global Platform Replacement),

  • Regulatory
  • Service sustainability,

  • Risk and control projects

What you will be doing;

  • Provide Business analysis to the portfolio of projects in an agile environment

  • Reporting to and liaising with business and functional heads

  • Based in Change / Technology organisation
  • Full responsibility and accountability for Project delivery from initial ideas through initiation to delivery

  • Providing a highly professional, competent and skilled service to the business through the Project Delivery team

  • Exercise any/all delegated authorities with due care and diligence.
