We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Territory Sales Manager to develop and manage new and existing client relationships in the West Midlands area. Holding responsibility for external sales out of our Haughmond Hill, Newbold and Uttoxeter quarries in addition to our Waste Recovery facility at Newbold, you will be a pro-active and technically minded sales professional, with the ability and intellect to operate across multiple customers and product types. You’ll operate with a consultative approach, being able to consistently showcase a high level of customer service through the exemplary standards of account management you bring.
About the role
You will manage the territory to achieve sales targets and overall business margin/volume objectives through the building, maintenance and improvement of business relationships and market knowledge.
Other elements to the role include:
Producing an accurate ongoing forecast and pipeline of work winning opportunities
Maintaining and developing a sales plan for the territory ensuring a high level of customer service at all times.
Developing in depth knowledge of our current and future product range in order to build credibility and competence
Maintaining an understanding of competitive activity relevant to the region
Working with and influencing the activities of customers as appropriate to define solutions in line with our offering
Being proactive in promoting the full product range (cross promotion) to all customers within the territory as appropriate
The building of strong and collaborative relationships with operational teams within the units, in addition to our internal sales and credit functions

Demonstrable experience of delivering and exceeding stretching sales targets across a technical and broad product range
Evidence of year on year growth on the bottom line through the development of new and existing relationships in your chosen field
Experience managing multiple accounts across a defined geographical area
Highly motivated, driven and willing to focus and commit to a long term career with the business
The ability and desire to quickly build strong and effective relationships both inside and outside of the organisation
A passion for excellence in terms of customer service and value creation
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, comfortable operating with individuals across a variety of levels within the business
