Would you like to play a key role in project control support to multiple projects across the Radar sub-sectors? We currently have a vacancy for a Project Controller at our site in Cowes.
As a Project Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining, updating and reporting using standard project control tools. Will gather information relating to performance (costs, resources and outputs), monitor and report against progress against plans, identify trends, analyse and interpret data and information to ensure all data and information are accurate; generate regular reports which can include some elements of the contract review pack.
The project control role provides an opportunity to work across a number of projects within the Radar portfolio. It is a key role in supporting the various Project Managers to ensure their projects are appropriate represented to the business. There are opportunities to work with wider project team and to interface with the management team within Radar and the wider Maritime Services.
Your main responsibilities as a Project Controller will involve:
Ensuring that project control processes are applied consistently in line with Company Policy
Supporting the integrity of data for contracts, prospects and resourcing
Undertaking project scheduling, including support to regular project reviews
Supporting the project manager in maintenance of accurate financial forecasts into the business
Knowledge of project management process, procedures and systems
Knowledge of the business environment for projects
Experience of working with internal stakeholders
Knowledge of project management & control tools and techniques
Good knowledge of standard Microsoft tools, especially Excel.
You will have the ability to developed strong communication skills to exchange complex information, you will be able to communicate and interact with senior customer and internal representatives: outgoing, engenders trust and confidence.
