Join the Chief Operating Office of our Commodities Trading division and play a key role in a team dedicated to ensuring that our businesses operate efficiently and effectively to meet strategic goals.

The team supports the day-to-day operations, finds solutions for operational, commercial and strategic issues facing the business, and provides management with qualitative and quantitative reporting.

You will be providing middle office support to the various trading desks to ensure deals, risk positions and P&L are accurately represented in trading systems and also assist with designing new transaction types.

Data mining to extract relevant trading data for a variety of purposes, e.g. for regulatory implementation initiatives, will be a critical activity.

In this varied role you will have the opportunity to engage with senior stakeholders across the division to enable the high-quality execution of strategic initiatives and projects. You will also help protect us from operational risk by actively identifying exposures and seeking to mitigate them.

To be successful you will need to demonstrate you can be innovative and proactive, have strong experience of data analysis using Excel and other tools, and the ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and demanding environment.

Knowledge of commodities markets, derivative products and trading platforms (preferably MTS) would be a distinct advantage.
