Managing Editor, LBC
To support the Managing Editor in all aspects of their role and work alongside the LBC management and Global’s Newsroom teams.
You will help ensure the smooth running of LBC, liaising with our presenters and other parts of Global to ensure LBC operates effectively.
You will be highly organised, thrive on a challenge and have experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
What you’ll be doing
Managing a busy diary that is often subject to change and juggling multiple competing time pressures.
Highly organised, you’ll be able to prioritise effectively, making the right decisions on behalf of LBC’s Managing Editor.
You’ll be responsible for publishing the LBC Presenter Schedule and managing administrative tasks around it.
You’ll review presenter and contributor invoices, submit to payroll and liaise with the legal team on LBC Contracts.
You’ll demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and will be very comfortable dealing with high-profile public figures.
You’ll be responsible for booking meeting rooms, handling engagements and travel for members of the LBC management and Global’s Newsroom team.
As PA to the Managing Editor of LBC, you will preferably have an interest in news and current affairs.
You’ll have these skills and experience
We’re looking for someone organised, personable and confident, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. In this role accuracy and attention to details at all time is key.
You’ll be a highly organised individual and confidentiality is all important. You will be privy to highly sensitive information and as such we will expect you to be completely discrete and professional.
You’ll be a great representative for Global, leaving everyone you meet with a great impression.
