About the role
As part of our continuous drive and ambition to provide our customers with high quality and accurate data we are initiating a project that will involve collating and auditing product data that will be used for new functionality on our website.
As a Product Administrator – Data Integration, you will join on a two-months’ fixed term contract basis and report to an experienced Product Administrator that is currently leading this project within the Product Data Integration team.
About PDI at Abcam
This role is within the Product Data Integration (PDI) Team at Abcam. The department is responsible for maintaining the high quality of the datasheets on Abcam’s website as well as assessing and adding new products to the catalogue. The team is currently comprised of 8 members.
Roles & responsibilities:
- Running automated processes.
- Manually curating datasheets
- Contacting external companies
- Keeping a clear record of the progress of the project to allow for clear and accurate reporting
- Performing ad-hoc tasks to support the team
You are likely to be a recent graduate looking to gain more experience in an office environment or the life science sector in general.
Your commitment to delivering the highest quality datasheets for our customers must be irreproachable as well as your ability to prioritise your workload and meet deadlines. You will be open to receiving/giving constructive feedback and willing to adapt your work priorities depending on your team and company initiatives/priorities.
Scientific knowledge and a basic a knowledge of Python and SQL would be advantageous but not necessary.
