The Legal team

The Legal Group provides transactional and strategic legal support as required for the various businesses within the bank and is organized across different practice groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day Legal advisory services across the LOB;

    • Assist in the creation, drafting and maintenance of client facing documents relevant to the business that designed to comply with industry regulations, internal requirements and best practices across the industry;

      Provide advice to the business and its operations regarding a variety of legal and regulatory matters;

      Collaborate with various teams in product development processes

      Advising the LoB on relevant FCA regulated products and propositions

      Ensure the Legal team are fully informed on key legal risks and opportunities relating to the FCA regulated products.


      Qualifications:

      Qualified Lawyer with practicing knowledge of the UK regulatory requirements

      General knowledge of deposits and/or credit

      Payment Services Regulations, BCOBs, Payment Accounts Regulations 2017, E-Money Regulations, CONC.

      Self-starter with the ability to work independently but escalate matters as appropriate

      Team and detail oriented with excellent organizational skills

      Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnerships with business partners

      Privacy (GDPR) experience desirable
