Would you like to work on projects encompassing both the technology delivery as well as the successful transition into the business area? We currently have a vacancy for an IT Project Manager at our site in Preston.
As an IT Project Manager you will be leading large and complex projects with a high business impact. These could be across multiple customers, technologies and domains and will also require focus on the business change element to support business transition and transformation activities.
This role will provide you with an overall responsibility to deliver internal and external business and enterprise projects to cost, timescale, quality and customer satisfaction.
Your skills and qualifications:
Strong Project Management experience within the IT Services domain
Experience of leading large enterprise-wide projects (£1milllion plus), incorporating successful business change delivery, to meet strategic business objectives
Experience of managing supply chains to achieve successful project outcomes
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills; able to produce and deliver progress updates, proposals and reporting to audiences at all levels
Strong stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills
Proficient understanding of Life Cycle Management and working in an organisation with strong governance practices and processes
Can demonstrate a track record of delivering business outcomes as part of project delivery
Competence with computer-based Project Management tools including MS Projects MSOffice etc.
Educated to degree level
Formal Project Management training, preferably PRINCE2 Practioner, Agile Project Management
Preference for ITIL training

You must be capable of working in complex environments and collaborating across multiple business areas and across supply chains to achieve common business objectives. You must be able to demonstrate decisiveness in resolving issues, making decisions and identifying priorities and be able to confidently communicate (oral & written) with stakeholders at all levels.
