Department Descriptions

The Wholesale Client On-Boarding (WCOB) team is a global team with locations in major locations such as New York, Delaware, London, Bournemouth, Hong Kong and Singapore. The team functions in close partnership with Sales, Operations, Credit, Legal and Compliance to ensure efficient and timely on-boarding to the J.P. Morgan infrastructure. WCOB plays a critical role in introducing new clients to our organization as well as ensuring full due diligence is done with respect to new and existing relationships. This team is responsible for the enforcement of controls associated with Know Your Client (KYC) and Anti Money Laundering (AML) regulatory requirements.

  • International graduate students eligible to work full time, with their current UK Visa, in a 10 week internship at JP Morgan, Bournemouth

  • Eligible to work in China for JP Morgan in Guangzhou / Shanghai post successful completion of the internship

  • Fluent in Mandarin and English languages

  • Clear concise verbal and written skills to communicate with colleagues and management teams

  • Ability to develop critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills

  • Work in a fast paced and dynamic industry and have an ability to be results focused

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power point

  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to work independently and in a team environment
