Supply Chain Professional - Repairs
We currently have a vacancy for a Supply Chain Professional - Repairs reporting to the Repairs Manager at our site in Samlesbury.
As a Supply Chain Professional you will deliver the customer orders including generation, receipt, validation, prioritisation, solution, process and progression of orders through the system to achieve contractual requirements, including management of 3rd Party Logistics Services.
You will coordinate the resolution of issues and priority parts including alternative parts/solutions via integrated functional solutions. You will use information and apply a level of operational analysis to aid order management and achieve contractual requirements.
Your main responsibilities as a Supply Chain Professional - Repairs will involve:
Identifying capability or capacity issues and working closely with the Order Book Management Specialist to ensure resolution where practical, or escalation, as appropriate
Completing supply chain transactions from receipt, processing and payment; maintaining the system records to reflect process status and responses
Delivering the customer order validation process, identify any issues, source or process and work with the Order Book Management Specialist to ensure resolution where practical, or escalation, as appropriate
Delivering the priority management process to meet customer and contract critical demand; Ensuring any trends are identified and escalated, as appropriate
Producing reports/metrication in order to assess Order Book Management performance
Completing customer Requests from quotation to timely conclusion; Utilising relationships with supporting functions so that competitive provision of prices and lead times are delivered
Ensuring the Supply Chain order book is compliant with key export regulations, such as International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) & Export Control requirements are met
Creating effective relationships within the supply chain including supporting functions to ensure that customer order schedule adherence is met
Supporting order book reviews with internal and external stakeholders, presenting order status, supporting resolutions to order related queries as requested by the customer
Your skills and qualifications:
Recent experience within a Supply Chain Demand Management role in support of Maintenance /after sales market environments
Comprehensive understanding of current IT software packages used within the Demand Management discipline
Ability to analyse and interpret data with a good level of attention to detail
A recognised qualification to NVQ3/Level 3 Award in relevant discipline would be advantageous
